Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work. Duties
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Support senior electricians in troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing issues.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Prepare work areas by setting up equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain organised workspaces and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete relevant training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and practical skills.
Qualifications
- Basic experience with hand tools and power tools is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial.
- Some electrical experience or background in a related field is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.
- Ability to work safely both independently and as part of a team.
- A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to travel between sites is necessary.
- Commitment to completing training programmes and gaining recognised qualifications in electrical work.
