Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Motor Mechanic or Apprentice to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist with routine vehicle inspections and diagnostics
- Learn to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Support senior mechanics in repairing and maintaining various types of vehicles
- Help with the replacement of parts such as brakes, tyres, and engine components
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
- Follow safety procedures at all times during work activities
- Document work completed and report findings to supervisors
- Participate in training sessions to develop technical knowledge and skills
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in automotive technology
- Ability to handle hand tools and power tools safely
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training programmes
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
- No formal qualifications required, but previous experience or coursework related to mechanics is advantageous
