Are you looking for a role where you can gain valuable project delivery experience whilst studying towards a recognised industry qualification? If so, we are offering the opportunity to undertake a Level 4 apprenticeship in Project management. On completion of the course the successful candidate will be qualified to Associate project manager level and aligning with Association for Project Management for Associate Membership.
As an apprentice within the Environment Agency you will gain new skills working within a supported learning environment, receive on the job training as well as time to complete your learning.
As well as undertaking your apprenticeship you’ll work directly with our project teams consisting of Project Support Officers, Project Managers and Project Executives. You’ll be involved in a wide variety of project management, which will keep your days varied and interesting whilst building your knowledge and experience. You’ll work on our national flood risk programme contributing to the delivery of flood alleviation projects and various operational projects. Everyone that joins us is required to undertake training and participate in incident response duties when the need to respond arises Having an incident role is an essential part of working for the Environment Agency and an active way to support communities and prevent harm to the environment.
