Job Overview:
We are seeking a new apprentice electrician or electricians mate to join our small team, whether you are already in the industry or new. As an apprentice electrician/mate, you will be responsible for assisting in installing, maintaining, and repairing Domestic, Commercial & Industrial electrical installations. This will include assisting on Solar PV & EV installations. The role may also involve works in the wider construction industry from time to time. We are lucky to have a wide range of work, which always keeps things interesting. We predominantly work around Taunton, but can go a maximum of an hour radius from our office.
Assisiting Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical installations
- Carry out fault finding on different types of installation
- Install Solar PV & EV charger installations
Requirements:
- 9 to 4 (A* to C) in Maths, English & Science
- Any electrical or construction qualifications/experience would be a bonus.
- Full driving lisence/transport
- Be open to OoH (out of hours) work
- Physically able
- Meet college requirements for an apprenticeship course
Full training and required qualifications will be provided.
Full time is preferable, however, we are happy to be flexible and will consider part time applications.
The ideal applicant would live local to Taunton or Tiverton/surrounding areas. Please don't apply if you live in a different region.
