We are working with a market-leading Groundworks and Civil Engineering contractor with a strong presence across the South West. Due to continued growth and investment in people, they are expanding their team and looking to appoint an Apprenticeship Co-ordinator at their Exeter office.
This is a varied and rewarding position combining apprenticeship coordination and health & safety administration.
You will play a key role in supporting the Apprenticeship Programme, supporting the Apprentices and acting as a liaison with the training providers — ensuring everything runs smoothly throughout the training programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for apprentices across the business
- Liaise with training providers, colleges, and internal teams
- Monitor apprentice progress and ensure all requirements are met
- Coordinate enrolments, reviews, and ongoing support
- Ensure apprentices are supported throughout their training journey
- Attend local schools and colleges to generate interest in the programme
- Support the Health & Safety team with general administrative duties
- Maintain and organise health & safety documentation, drawings, and files
- Ensure compliance records are accurate and up to date
- Assist with audits and document control processes
- Support the wider team with compliance and reporting requirements
Requirements & Experience
- Previous experience in an Apprenticeship administration, coordination, or support role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Proactive and able to manage a varied workload
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Willingness to travel to sites across Devon, Cornwall & Somerset
