Earn while you learn:
- Year 1: £18,000
- Year 2: £24,000
- Year 3: £30,000 + bonus potential
- On completion: £35,500 + bonus potential

️ What You’ll Be Doing
This isn’t just a course – it’s your launchpad into the automotive world.
Over 3 years, you’ll:
- Train on the job at our Redhill site
- Work alongside and be mentored by a qualified BMW Technician
- Learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain cutting-edge BMW & MINI vehicles
- Build real confidence in a real workshop environment
You’ll also get:
- Regular check-ins with a BMW expert to support your development
- Classroom training at the BMW Group Training Academy in Reading
What You’ll Achieve
By the end of your apprenticeship, you won’t just have experience you’ll have industry-recognised qualifications:
- IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician
- IMI Level 3 Automotive Refrigeration Handling
- IMI Level 2 Electric / Hybrid Vehicles
- IMI Accreditation Service Maintenance Technician

As an Apprentice Technician at Vines, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines — you’ll be hands-on from day one.
You’ll learn how to:
- Service, maintain, and repair BMW & MINI vehicles
- Diagnose faults using advanced BMW technology and tools
- Work on everything from engines to high-tech electrical systems
- Train on cars of the future!
This isn’t ordinary training. This is BMW-level training — designed to put you ahead of the game.
You’ll get the chance to:
- Work on the latest models, engines, and diagnostic equipment
Build skills in cutting-edge areas like:
- Electrification (hybrid & electric vehicles)
- Digitalisation and smart vehicle tech
Learn by Doing
Every day is different. One minute you could be:
- Fixing a real customer vehicle
- Using specialist BMW diagnostic systems
- Learning directly from experienced technicians
By the end, you won’t just understand cars — you’ll understand the technology driving the future of the automotive industry.

Application Criteria
To apply, you’ll need (or be predicted to achieve):
- GCSE English (Grade A*–C / 9–4 or equivalent)
- GCSE Maths (Grade A*–C / 9–4 or equivalent)
- At least one other subject at the same level
