Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our team. This paid apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in mechanical systems, construction, and equipment repair, with a desire to build a career in the HVAC industry. No prior experience is necessary, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
Duties
- Assist senior technicians with installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning units and systems.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams related to HVAC equipment.
- Support the troubleshooting process to identify faults and perform basic repairs under supervision.
- Participate in routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Learn about the operation of various HVAC equipment and components.
- Follow health and safety guidelines during all tasks to maintain a safe working environment.
- Contribute to construction projects involving air conditioning systems, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Develop leadership skills by assisting in supervising small teams or tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- Keen interest in mechanical knowledge, construction, and equipment repair.
- Basic understanding of schematics or willingness to learn how to read technical diagrams.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate leadership potential.
- Prior experience in maintenance or construction is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £13.28-£20.00 per hour
