We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Data Enablement Apprentice to join our Business Intelligence team and support the delivery of high-quality reporting across the Council.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop valuable skills in data reporting, analysis and stakeholder engagement while gaining hands-on experience working with Power BI and performance management reporting tools.
You will support the rollout and adoption of Power BI dashboards across council services, helping teams better understand and use data to improve outcomes for residents. Working closely with the Data Enablement team, you will also contribute to user support, training materials and service improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Enablement Apprentice, you will:
- Assist with the rollout of Power BI reports and dashboards across council services
- Support services with low usage of reporting tools and help improve engagement
- Help identify and resolve minor reporting or data issues
- Demonstrate Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to service users
- Assist with the creation of user guides, FAQs and training materials
- Gather feedback from users to support continuous improvement
- Participate in team planning sessions and apprenticeship learning activities
- Work collaboratively with the Enablement team and wider Business Intelligence service

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Meet the residency criteria of 3 years lawful residence in the UK
- Hold a visa that covers the full length of the apprenticeship, where applicable
- Not be in full-time education at the time of applying
