In Town Automotive is one of the largest independently owned garages in the East Midlands, with modern workshop facilities, strong customer reviews and a growing team across multiple sites.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team and begin a long-term career in the motor industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced technicians in a busy, professional workshop environment while working towards a recognised qualification.
The Role
You will learn how to:
- Carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Complete vehicle health checks
- Assist with repairs including brakes, suspension and clutches
- Diagnose basic faults
- Use workshop equipment and diagnostic tools
- Maintain high workshop standards
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a team
As your experience grows, you will gain exposure to more advanced repairs including engine work, timing belts and wet belt replacements.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in cars and the motor trade
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence required
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance is beneficial but not essential
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English preferred
