Description
BD Electrical LTD is a small business specialising in domestic electrical work throughout West Lothian and the Central Belt. This position would be ideal for someone in the process of completing their Apprenticeship or Adult Trainee Qualification. The appointed candidate will provide vital support to BD Electrical and have opportunities for progression as we look to expand the company.
Job Requirements
- Basic understanding of electrical principles is advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is desirable
- A keen interest in developing electrical skills through hands-on learning
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
- Ability to work safely in a team environment and adhere to all safety protocols
- Clean UK driving license and own transport to site
Duties
- Assist qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications
- Help with wiring, conduit bending, and cable management tasks
- Conduct basic inspections of electrical components for safety and compliance
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during work activities
Pay: £10.60-£16.10 per hour
