Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in carpentry and construction while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist skilled tradespeople in various tasks, contributing to the successful completion of projects while learning the fundamentals of the trade.

Responsibilities

Assist in the fabrication and assembly of wooden structures and frameworks.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Support experienced carpenters with roofing, joinery, masonry, and electrical work as required.
Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials as necessary.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in carpentry techniques.

Qualifications

A strong willingness to learn and develop carpentry skills.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
Basic understanding of roofing, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, or joinery is a plus.
