We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to take on the dual role of Lecturer and Quality Lead for our Apprenticeships and Work-Based Learning programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning while also leading on quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role is perfect for someone who is committed to excellence in education and has a strong background in apprenticeships and work-based learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching, training, and assessment for apprenticeship and work-based learning programs.
- Lead on quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with Ofsted, ESFA, and other relevant standards and regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
- Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with funding rules and quality standards.
- Provide support, guidance, and training to teaching staff to enhance their delivery and assessment practices.
- Develop and maintain robust systems for tracking learner progress, achievement, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with employers, learners, and internal teams to ensure programs meet the needs of all stakeholders.
- Prepare for and lead on external inspections, audits, and reviews, ensuring all evidence and documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and quality requirements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence across the organization.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
- Proven experience delivering and assessing apprenticeships and work-based learning programs.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements, ESFA funding rules, and apprenticeship standards.
- Experience in quality assurance, compliance, and audit processes within an educational setting.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.

- Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching, learning, and quality assurance processes.
