Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Apprentice to join our team, based in Salford. You will be working on a full-time Fixed Term Basis for 24 months, working 40 hours per week. The salary is based upon the National Minimum age for Apprentices.

We are looking for a 'can do, will do' enthusiastic Apprentice to work within our Grounds Maintenance Team. The successful candidate will be trained to undertake the same responsibilities as a Grounds Maintenance Operative whilst gaining a professional qualification and will have a direct, visible and lasting effect on the local community by contributing to the physical environmental condition of the local area and neighbourhood.
Responsibilities for this Grounds Maintenance Apprentice will include:
Undertake grounds maintenance work to areas and properties as per customers specifications relevant to the area
Carry out duties with full regarding to Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety and Customer Service and Performance Policies
Leave grounds clean and safe upon completion of jobs
What we are looking for in our ideal Grounds Maintenance Apprentice:
Have a genuine interest in working in Grounds Maintenance. Have GCSE or equivalent standard in Maths and English grade 4 or above. Have a positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualifications. Are reliable, punctual, flexible & have good organisational & planning skills
