N1080 Business Support Apprentice - Role Profile
We are excited to offer two apprenticeship’s opportunities within our Business Support Team. One apprentice will join the Place Team, focusing on shaping and enhancing our environment, while the other will be part of the Strategic Commissioning Team, supporting our community. These roles provide a fantastic chance to develop skills, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to meaningful work in a supportive and dynamic environment. Both roles will involve process-driven tasks, along with administrative and customer-focused responsibilities, aiming to deliver a high quality and efficient service for our stakeholders.
The Business Support apprenticeship will be supported by a local training provider, and you will be given allocated time during the working week for off-the-job training.
Please note: apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.
To undertake this role, it is essential that you have the following:
- GCSE’s A*- C (9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Word, Outlook and Excel
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality• Experience of working towards deadlines• Experience of working as part of a team
- Good organisational, time and task management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

The Place team apprentice will be based at Prince Rock Depot, while the Strategic Commissioning team apprentice will be based at Crownhill Court.

Please be aware that if you are successful in your application, you will be required to sit a functional skills assessment with the apprenticeship training provider.
Your current and previous qualifications will also be checked to ensure that you are eligible for course funding.
