Childcare Bookings offer an innovative service that assists schools with providing wraparound childcare. To support the expansion of our service, we are now seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our team and receive all the support they need to begin building an office-based career.

Role: Apprentice Office Administrator
Apprenticeship: Business Administration (Level 3)

Salary: £13,000 per year (£6.25 per hour)
Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours)
Location: Haywards Heath, RH16 3UX

Tasks and responsibilities:

As an Apprentice Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our service runs smoothly and that parents/carers at our partner schools receive outstanding support. You will receive full training and support to allow you to undertake the following key tasks and responsibilities:

Using our bespoke online booking system – to handle parent enquiries, manage bookings, and assist with any technical issues that users may encounter.
Providing prompt and professional email and phone support – to parents/carers using our service, as well as to school staff when required.
Delivering exceptional customer service to parents and partner schools – by taking a warm, empathic and efficient approach when supporting their needs.
Completing any coursework and assessments that are required as part of your apprenticeship; within your allocated 8 hours of study time each per week.

Person specification:

Good written and verbal communication skills (required).
Confident using computers and a good understanding of IT.
Experience using Microsoft Office – particularly Outlook, Excel and Word (required).
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong team player.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy of written work and records.
