Are you passionate about building the future?

As a Civil Engineering Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on exciting infrastructure projects, including highways, structures, utilities and major developments like HS2. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop real-world engineering skills while earning industry-recognised qualifications.

Here are just some of the activities you will be involved with…

Assisting with design work, site surveys, and project planning.
Learning to use CAD software for technical drawings and getting involved in digital construction techniques including 3D modelling, working environments, machine control and BIM.
Supporting site inspections, safety checks, and project coordination.
Helping to manage resources, costs, and schedules.
Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Following health, safety, and environmental regulations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re not expecting you to be an expert yet—that’s what this apprenticeship is for! But we do look for:

5 GCSEs (A-C / 9-4)* including Maths and English (or equivalent).
A keen interest in civil engineering and construction.
Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills.
A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and good teamwork skills.
