We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as an IT Apprentice atTorus Group.

The successful candidate will complete the IT Solutions Technician Level 3 course while gaining hands-on experience with hardware, software, and IT support.

Working pattern is rota-based between Monday - Friday: 0800-1600, 0900-1700 and 1000-1800.

The role will be based at the Liverpool office but will require travel to the Warrington and St Helens sites.

Responsibilities:

Gather and analyse requirements to implement IT solutions.
Provide IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment per documented processes.
Manage helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when needed.
Maintain IT service standards, security, and compliance.
Document technical processes, create user guides, and provide staff training.
Support IT operations, ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.

Skills & Experience:

A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English (Grade 4 or above)
A basic understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking.

Interview Process:

Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of competency-based questions.

DBS check (if required for role)
Completion of all new starter documentation including signed T&C’s
