Job Summary
Automated Managed Services (AMS) Ltd is looking for a hardworking individual to join their team as an apprentice. AMS are the UK distributor for robotic lawnmowers and ball collectors in the UK for Belrobotics. As part of your learning we will support you to become competent in the business administrative functions within AMS and will ensure that you are afforded every learning opportunity available to meet the outcomes of the academic aspect of your apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
- Customer care – portrays the professional image of AMS at all times to our customers, answering the phone, managing customer enquiries, documenting all communication on the CRM, and reporting any issues to the relevant manager.
- Supporting ISO 9001 concordance and documenting evidence for review
- Utilising IT to support business function and recommend solutions to the general manager on how to improve efficiencies with the support of IT
Requirements
Qualifications
Essential: GCSE English Language 4/C or above
Desirable: GCSE ICT (or similar) 4/C or above

Your training plan
- Training will be 6 hours per week.
- During term time, training will be held on Tuesdays at Grantham College, Stonebridge Road, NG31 9AP.
- Outside of term time, the apprentice will train either at AMS or by working independently on tutor-set assignments.
- Depending on the apprentice's age and GCSE (or equivalent qualifications) results, they may be required to achieve Functional Skills alongside the apprenticeship training. This would take place at Grantham College on the same day as the apprenticeship training.
- Additional workplace training includes Health and Safety and First Aid at Work.
Information about pay and hours
16-18 years - £7.55 p/h
19 years - £10.00 p/h
21 years - £12.21 p/h
Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm (45 min lunch break).
