Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople in the execution of their tasks, learning essential techniques and practices.
- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Support electrical installations and repairs under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, promoting safety and efficiency.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute positively to team dynamics.
Qualifications
- A keen interest in pursuing a career in the trades, with a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and electrical systems is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks associated with the role.
- Gcse in maths ,English and a science is required but not essential
- The ideal candidate will also have a driving licence.
