Are you looking for a dynamic and hands-on role where you can contribute to a fast-paced warehouse environment? Join our team as a Warehouse Operative Apprentice and help keep our production and manufacturing schedules running smoothly, by ensuring all deliveries and despatches are managed effectively and safely. You will be required to attend college to complete your apprenticeship and will be provided with forklift training.
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with the Warehouse, Production, and Manufacturing teams to ensure a steady flow of materials.
- Handle stock control, including receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Ensure stock areas are clean, organised, and safe, maximizing space and efficiency.
- Support production by supplying materials on time and relocating unconsumed stock.
- Maintain accurate stock records and report shortages or equipment issues.
- Help ensure warehouse and yard security and uphold health and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Basic numeracy, literacy, and comfort with computerised stock systems (training provided).
- Attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
- A calm and focused attitude, even under pressure.
