Apprentice Nursery Nurse

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Nurse to join our friendly staff team in our busy 60 place day nursery at Edlington. The position is for 25 hours per week over 5 days between the hours of 7.30am – 6pm.

£7.70 per hour (from April)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in our Outstanding Day Nursery whilst working towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. You will receive on-going training and support from both the training provider and your mentor within the nursery.

Main Duties:

To engage and play with the children aged zero to five at their level.
To ensure good standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
To ensure confidentiality of information received.
To ensure Health & Safety is of high priority and that the policy is always followed.
To develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents/carers.

Key Skills/Requirements:

· Some experience of working with children under five would be an advantage.

§ Excellent communication skills.

· Able to work within a hardworking team.

· To work towards and complete a Childcare qualification.
