This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a Level 3 Youth Support Worker Apprenticeship while working hands-on with students, local organisations, and community groups. You’ll be at the heart of student-led initiatives that drive real change, build confidence, and develop employability skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Raise awareness and embed youth social action across our colleges.
- Coordinate and support student-led community projects.
- Build partnerships with local charities, employers, and organisations.
- Empower students to take action on local issues and gain meaningful experience.
- Promote inclusive opportunities that reflect the diverse needs of our student body.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to achieve by End Point Assessment).
- Experience of volunteering or mentoring.
- Confident communicator with a passion for youth development.
- Basic IT and social media skills.
- Motivated, proactive, and committed to personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete an 18-month apprenticeship plus a 3-month End Point Assessment.
- Lead and manage youth social action activities across two college sites.
- Engage with students to understand their motivations and encourage participation.
- Collaborate with local and national organisations to deliver impactful projects.
- Act as a positive role model and ambassador for youth social action.
