Full in house training covering various techniques and machinery. You will learn how to use and operate a CNC router, letter bending machine, Laser cutter, vinyl cutter, large format printing. As well as learning graphic design which work hand in hand. We also do fleet vehicle graphic application and car/van wrapping.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Fabricating signs for shop facias
- Printing and cutting vinyl for car/van graphics
- Router/lasering materials for internal and external signage
- LED and neon installation
- Making 3D letters
- Designing signs and vehicle graphics
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Full in house training will be provided with supervision from members of staff
- Full training on machinery and equipment
- You'll gain a level 3 NVQ in Sign Manufacturing (24 month course)
- In house training provided where an assessor will arrange to come into the work place
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once training is completed you'll be able to fulfil the following:
- Design and create various types of signs using specialized equipment and software
- Operate and maintain sign-making machinery, such as plotters, printers, and cutters
- Prepare materials for sign production, including vinyl, acrylic, and metal
- Ensure accurate measurements and precise cutting of materials
- Apply vinyl graphics and lettering to signs
- Install signs at designated locations, both indoors and outdoors
- Collaborate with clients to understand their signage needs and provide design recommendations
- Maintain inventory of sign-making materials and supplies
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
