At b2b IT Services, we do things differently. We work closely and strategically with our customers to understand their business plan and infrastructure before we recommend bespoke, cost effective, and innovative IT solutions. We are at an exciting stage of growth, and we are looking for an apprentice First Line Engineer to grow with us!
What will you be doing?
You will be the first point of contact for all our customers' IT support queries. You will be working as part of a great team in a supportive culture. You will be working with a variety of customers to resolve or escalate their technical issues when required.
As part of your role, you will also be required to obtain a qualification.
What are your duties and responsibilities?
· To provide great service to our customers who call or email into our IT Support Desk.
· To ensure customers are kept up to date with progress on their issues through proactively communicating with them.
· To work as part of our First Line team, as well as working closely with both the Senior Engineers, and the Service Desk Manager.
· To manage tickets through meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
What skills and attributes are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who:
· Has excellent knowledge of Microsoft-based Operating systems such as Windows 10/11 and MS Server 2016/2019/2022
· Has strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Sharepoint, Exchange, Onedrive, Office suite)
· Can setup and configure PC hardware and software.
· Has a passion for IT and providing excellent service.
· Takes responsibility and ownership of their work.
· Wants to be part of a growing business
