About The role.
The Production Apprentice role is an opportunity for someone with a positive ‘can do’ attitude to embed with the existing team. Working together to cover all production responsibilities, including;
- Assembly, testing, and packaging the complete range of Came KMS access control hardware.
- Work with existing procedures and assembly instructions to ensure accurate and efficient production and daily dispatch processes.
- Collaborate with production team members to meet production quotas and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure all equipment meets our exacting high delivery standards.
- Support inventory management activities by monitoring and checking stock levels, stock replenishment, organising incoming materials and storage areas.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to ensure safety compliance and efficiency in manufacturing operations.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with production equipment or assembly processes and participate in implementing solutions.
- Other general support as needed, including material handling, equipment setup, cycle counting and stock control.
- Perform technical support and advice in a logical and methodical manner to installers, users and internal sales and marketing colleagues.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and operator instructions with the ability to communicate technical knowledge remotely to varying skilled users.
- Continuous improvement by participation in company training.
The Apprenticeship.
The supporting course will gain you a Lean Manufacturing Operative- Level 2 qualification.
- You will be supported and guided throughout your Apprenticeship by both our Operations Manager and Production Team Leader.
- The qualification will require off the job hours and you’ll be provided with adequate time to complete this requirement within your working week, which Is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)
- The course is ran remotely through our provider partner – Springfield, so there is no need to attend college.
- The course length is 1 year, but may require additional time upon reaching your end point assessment.

We have recently moved to new offices in Woodburn Green just of the M40, a very easy area to commute to, with lots of onsite parking!
The starting salary for the apprenticeship is £14,000 per annum plus a companywide bonus scheme of £1,200 per annum and other benefits include;
- 25 days annual leave per year, increasing to 28 days per year with length of service
- Complimentary company attire
- Company pension (matched up to 5% contributions) subject to eligibility criteria
