We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as an Apprentice Large Format Print / Flatbed Cutter & 3D Scanning Operative. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a career in a creative and fast-paced industry.

About the Role

This apprenticeship will train you across multiple areas of production, combining traditional large format print techniques with cutting-edge 3D scanning technology. You’ll be working alongside a skilled team, learning how to operate printers, cutters, finishing equipment, and 3D scanners used to capture objects and environments for digital reproduction or enhancement.

What You’ll Learn

Setting up and operating large format digital printers
Operating flatbed cutting machines (e.g. Zünd or Kongsberg)
Finishing methods such as laminating, trimming, and mounting
Introduction to 3D scanning technology and software
Capturing and processing 3D scans for design or production use
File preparation and interpreting artwork specifications
Quality control and equipment maintenance
Workflow and time management in a production environment

What We’re Looking For

A genuine interest in print, design, or 3D technology
Curious, hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn
Good attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving
Team player with good communication skills
Basic computer literacy
GCSEs in English and Maths preferred, but not essential

Bonus Points For:

Interest in CAD, 3D modelling, or digital design
Familiarity with Adobe software or 3D tools (e.g. Blender, Fusion 360)
Any previous experience with printers, scanners, or creative projects (even personal ones!)
