Teacher Apprenticeship

Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a BA (Hons) Primary Education (3-11) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Level 6 Apprenticeship Qualification. Successful completion of this course means you will be a Qualified Teacher.Working with Hope University.

Contract term: 40 months

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic individuals with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for every child within a family-focussed educational environment where every child can thrive and be happy.

It is desirable that you have experience of working with children with visual impairment, multiple disabilities, medical needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties and be able to work as part of a team. You will have an adaptable and flexible outlook and have good listening skills with the ability to be firm but compassionate in nature. Personal care including changing and swimming are expected as part of the role.

You would be signing up to The Teacher (Primary) Degree Apprenticeship (Integrated Degree) at Liverpool Hope University which offers a unique blend of academic excellence and practical training, designed to prepare you for the complexities and evolving challenges faced by the teaching profession. The course would be completed over a 40-month period including ‘off-the-job’ teaching and learning activities one day per week. Your ‘on-the-job’ role will be as part of the cover teacher team here at RSB.
