The Council’s apprentice pay rates are:
21 and over: £12.33 per hour
18 to 20: £10.10 per hour
Under 18: £7.62 per hour

As a Housing Support Apprentice, you will work towards achieving:
- Business Administration Apprenticeship – Level 3
This will involve participating in online learning and attending review meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide housing advice and support to customers accessing relevant services.
- Handle various administrative duties within the service, such as completing referrals, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the delivery of excellent service.
About you:
- Have achieved a Level or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C or demonstrate successful study at a Level (A Level, Access, BTEC), or have equivalent experience.
- Strong passion for helping customers in need.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Able to work face-to-face with customers.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
