Founded in 1997 by a group of experienced fire alarm specialists, Drax 360 has since grown to become a leading supplier of alarm management systems across the UK. Our original vision has not changed. We continue to fulfill our mission; providing fully accredited fire detection products and services to multi-site organisations across the healthcare, education, and manufacturing sectors.
Assisting site based engineers at a number of large contracts – Royal Berkshire Hospital, Rutherford Appleton Labs, Royal Holloway University, Brunel University on the following:
- Servicing
- Weekly testing
- Fault finding
- Installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems
Please note that you will need to be based local to Reading/Slough
Entry requirements
- Maths and English GCSE's at grade 4/C or above
- 21+ due to insurance purposes
- Have a full drivers licence
- Electrical knowledge/experience would be advantageous
Training to be provided
Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford Centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.
