As a Risk & Compliance Apprentice, you will support the Head of Risk & Compliance in ensuring the firm adheres to regulatory obligations and maintains high standards in client service and internal governance. This role offers hands-on experience in legal compliance, complaints handling, and operational risk management, with structured training and mentoring to support your development.

The Position
Key Responsibilities:
- Complaints Handling Support:
Assist in logging, tracking, and responding to client complaints under supervision. Help prepare documentation for internal reviews and support the resolution process in line with firm policy and regulatory expectations
Support in monitoring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, SRA Standards and Regulations, and Data Protection legislation. Assist in maintaining accurate records and reporting obligations
- File Reviews & Data Analysis:
Help co-ordinate file review processes, identify patterns or recurring issues, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Learn how to interpret compliance data and prepare summary reports for internal stakeholders
- Policy & Procedure Support:
Assist in reviewing and updating internal policies, including those related to risk management, file closure, and client care. Help ensure that documentation is current and accessible
Participate in internal training sessions and external courses as required. Support the delivery of compliance training to other staff by preparing materials or coordinating sessions
Provide general administrative support to the Risk & Compliance team, including document management.

You will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
- This Apprenticeship will involve off the job training.
- You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role.
- The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months.
- This course has multiple start dates throughout the year
