Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. You will support the IT department in delivering high-quality technical support across the GlucoRx and GlucoRx Subsidiaries, learning essential skills in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop and laptop issues, including operating systems and applications.
- Assist users with account management, including password resets and user access issues.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
- Update knowledge base articles and documentation for future reference.
- Work closely with other IT team members to ensure efficient resolution of complex issues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Desirable skills:
- Good, clear communication to end-users and management.
- Phone and in-person communication skills.
- Team player.
- An interest in, or some knowledge of, troubleshooting, networking and computer hardware.
Required:
- A UK/EU driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Local to the Guildford area.
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

40 hours, 8am - 5pm
