Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Administrator to support our team in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and be proficient in using office software. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing clerical support, and maintaining effective communication within the team.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the management team and other staff members.
- Manage data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all records.
- Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings as required.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations as needed.
- 1. Meet & greet guests and visitors
2. Answering phones, and putting through calls
3. Filing, and other basic clerical tasks
4. Updating diary and monitoring staff movements
5. Manage meeting room
6. Recording of delivery / collection notes
7. Stock taking plant and materials in warehouse, and assisting with management of stock levels and deliveries
8. Assisting other team members with general clerical and administrative duties, whilst they are out of the office or as required
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage administrative functions efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for client interactions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

PROGRESSION
Upon successful completion of the level 3 business administration apprenticeship you will have gained a national qualification recognised throughout the industry and this may lead to a full time permanent position being offered, where available.
