Job Purpose
The purpose of the role is to assist the Finance team in the day-to-day finance administrative duties which include accounts receivable, accounts payable and invoicing tasks.
To assist in debt collection, processing bills, reconciliation of statements and other ad hoc tasks.

As a result of new business and further expansion, we are looking to employ a full-time Finance Apprentice to join our successful Finance team.

Key Responsibilities
- To assist in the management of the Stock email inbox; reviewing and distributing emails to the relevant folders/people.
- Booking in External Haulier Receipts and fulfilling sales orders from external locations
- Booking in Bulk Fuel reciepts for Partnership Stock
- Entering transfer vehicle stock for Partnership Stock
- Reconciling vehicles & Depots for Partnership Stock
- To assist in the management of the AP email inbox; reviewing and distributing emails to the relevant folders/people.
- To assist with posting supplier Invoices/Credit Notes using receipted Purchase Orders.
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Raising any queries relating to Purchase Orders
- Any other adhoc Ap & Stock tasks
Person Specification
- Competent in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
- Believes in and exhibits good customer care skills.
- Written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
- Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations and fast paced environment.
- Pro-active nature.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and reliable
- Strong organisational skills.
- Drive, determination, and ownership of role.

Your apprenticeship
Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship you will gain an AAT Level 2 qualification
Two previous apprentices enrolled in 2020 and are now fully employed members of staff within both HR and Finance teams where they are continuing to develop but are also relied upon all members of staff including Senior management.
