As the HR Digital Support Apprentice, you will be situated in the small but dynamic HR team at McGills Buses. This team supports the HR processes to ensure Scotland’s largest independent bus operator runs smoothly. You will be the first responder to HR tickets to action information requests, compliance documentation and create report for key stakeholders. This role is a perfect opportunity to develop your digital skills in a fast-paced environment!
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first responder to HR tickets, taking calls, directing as required or taking detailed messages.
- Communicating daily with employees, supporting the HR Manager with the smooth running of the organisation.
- Assisting with the management of the HR Support shared mailbox to provide first line support when necessary to ensure staff queries are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner.
- Becoming a super-user on MITAS to coordinate recruitment, track open positions and monitor ED&I data.
- Working collaboratively with the Training Academy following processes, including onboarding, employee records management.
- Process return-to-work documents, change of personal details documents, annual appraisal documents.
- Setting up a new user and managing permission access.
- Maintain accurate employee data by updating digital files on MITAS, including training documents for the group.
- Prepare reports and assist with HR and Training Academy projects.

Salary: £24,570 per annum.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week.
