About the role:
Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP are now looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to support the Operations team. The role covers a variety of areas in the day-to-day operation of the firm including general administration, project management, facilities, buildings, etc. The role will be extremely varied in a fast paced environment.
The work start date for this role is 15/9/2025.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing general office support to all teams within operations
- Assisting with daily operational tasks to keep the offices running smoothly (Offices being: London, Luxembourg and Brussels)
- Assisting facilities and building management to ensure the office is operating to the highest standards i.e. health and safety, floor walks, etc.
- Assisting with workplace management i.e. office moves
- Assisting with project management tasks to ensure progress and efficiency
- As required, attend project meetings such as London and European fitout meetings
- Problem-solvinging by addressing and resolving queries
- Diary management
- Assisting with the drafting of correspondence and documents where appropriate e.g. emails, meetings, etc.
- Amending, converting and formatting documents and creating documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Arranging travel, meetings and events etc., including domestic and international travel
- Arranging internal and client meetings to include room bookings, lunches, etc.
- Assisting with processing invoices, purchase orders, etc.
- Supporting wider Business Services team members as and when needed
- Any other duties required to provide full business administrative support
Entry Requirements:
- You’ll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration.
- You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.
