APPRENTICE SERVICE ADVISOR
Cars2 are a highly successful motor retailer based in West and South Yorkshire. We have grown extensively in recent years and now represent several of the world’s leading motor brands, including Hyundai, SEAT, Renault, Dacia, MG OMODA, JAECOO & Nissan.
We also opened our first Prestige used car center in early 2018 and have further plans for expansion in the near future.
We are currently seeking an Apprentice Service Advisor to join our busy Bradford dealership. The comprehensive apprenticeship programme offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to achieve formal qualifications through extensive training, as well as building up confidence and gaining valuable work experience.
The Role
The purpose of this full-time role is to support the Service Manager in the supply of the quantity of the parts stock for the Dealership. The successful candidate will be expected to cover all aspects of the parts department in order to support the Dealership team.
In addition to the parts department the role involves ensuring the smooth running of the service department and assist wherever needed. The role does involve dealing with customers over the phone and face to face.
Skills required
For the role of Apprentice Service Advisor you will need:
To identify and verify for quality, quantity and description, parts stock and other goods from suppliers.
To receive into the department and correctly locate items in established bin and other locations.
To accurately identify, locate and pick parts from workshop staff and customers’ by means of acquired knowledge, parts catalogues and computer stock lists.
To conduct all transactions with workshop staff and customers pleasantly and courteously with an emphasis on customer service.
To work within agreed discount structure and customer terms including the sensitive areas of credit withdrawal.
To seek ways to increase parts and workshop sales by identifying customer needs and incremental items to sell.
To enhance the reputation of the company at every opportunity when interacting with others.
The Person
As an Apprentice Service Advisor you must:

Entry Requirements:
- At least 16 years of age
- 5 GCSE’s at grade A* to C (or equivalent) including Maths, English
essential. Science and ICT are desirable.
- Must NOT be in full time education or hold a qualification of level 4 or higher.
Remuneration
- During the first year of your apprenticeship, you will be paid £15,735 per annum in accordance with the National Minimum Wage rate from 2025. This applies to 16–18-year-old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship.
- Working hours: 40 hours Monday-Friday. Between the hours of 8am – 6pm. (please note that anyone over the age of 18 may be offered the opportunity to work over 40 hours per week).
