We also handle the complexities of divorce and family law, employment law and dispute resolution advice and provide a range of business law services to our clients.
Opportunity
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Modern Apprentice in Business Development & Marketing to join our Business Development & Marketing (BDM) team based in our Edinburgh office. The position is on a full-time 12 month fixed-term basis and is fully based in the office, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
This role is an entry level position and will provide administrative assistance to the BDM team. As a Modern Apprentice you will assist with mailing lists, invitations and attendance logs for all events including producing name badges, place cards, table plans as appropriate. This role will require the successful candidate to support the sourcing of branded and promotional products, ensuring delivery is successful, as well as, making sure stock is stored and tidy at all times. The Modern Apprentice will support and assist with research as required and also keep various spreadsheets up to date.
Other general office tasks will be required for example, answering departmental calls and emails, managing diaries and photocopying and printing.
Skills/Qualifications
The successful candidate is expected to have strong administration and organisation skills with an aptitude for learning in a changing environment. Good communication skills both written and oral, and high attention to detail is essential. Strong pc skills including basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is required. Full training will be provided on the various systems used throughout the Firm.
The individual will be able to work as part of a team in order to meet sometimes tight deadlines. A high level of discretion and confidentiality is needed for this role as you will be exposed to highly sensitive information.
