Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Nemo's Nursery, Poole
Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Nemo's Nursery in Poole.
Nemo’s cares for children between three months and five years. Our beautiful nursery is set in a large Victorian house. You will feel at ease from the moment you step through our door. Our friendly staff will be there to greet you and your child with a warm smile and lots of learning and adventures every day.
Our nursery is split into different age groups. Our Baby Rooms and 2 - 5 years room will give children everything they need to grow, learn and develop in a safe and fun environment in their own individual way. Rest assured your child will always receive the care and attention they deserve.
Nemo’s nursery and preschool opened its doors in 2010 and was the original creation of busy working mum of two Claire Hartwell.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- We are looking to expand our already fantastic team here at Nemo's, we are looking for a candidate with good communication skills who is energetic and committed to be part of our team.
- We are a beautiful home from home nursery, within walking distant to the local woodland and beaches, we were established 16 years ago and have a fantastic reputation.
- Your role will be to work directly with the children of the nursery setting supporting them in their learning and development.
- You will provide the highest standard of care for children throughout the setting.
- You will need to be highly organised and pay attention to detail in children’s development records.
- You will need to communicate with parents effectively on a daily basis to provide an excellent service to them and their children.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Natural ability to build rapport with staff and parents. A passion to work with young children.
- Be able to use initiative and communicate to colleagues professionally.
- Enjoy teamwork.
- Be flexible in your work.
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge children.
- Promote good progress and outcomes by children.
- Adapt activities to respond to the strengths and needs of all
Requirements;
- GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent
Hours;
- Nemo's Nursery is open from 8:15am – 5:45pm Monday to Friday
- The successful candidate will be required to work 36 - 45 hours per week
