We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various manual tasks across our site, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed
- Supporting the setup and dismantling of equipment and work areas as required
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work site, including waste disposal and tidying tools and materials
- Assisting tradespeople and other team members with their tasks as directed
- Moving materials, supplies, or equipment around the site using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly
- Supporting general labouring duties to facilitate project progress and efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manual labour or construction environments is advantageous but not essential
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks over extended periods
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks as required
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a labouring environment
