Joining Children’s Social Care at Cheshire East Council means becoming part of a progressive, supportive and forward-thinking team that is dedicated to make a difference of the lives of children and young people, by putting them first to help them become the very best version of themselves possible and building a brighter future.
About the Role:
- Work within Cheshire East’s Family Hubs, supporting children aged 0–19 (or up to 25 for young people with SEND).
- Support families to receive timely and appropriate information tailored to their needs.
- Collaborate with Family Hub teams to provide high-quality, integrated support services.
- Contribute to the transformation of services following a recent redesign aimed at improving outcomes for families.
- Gain hands-on experience in family support services while completing a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
- Develop skills in communication, organisation, and customer service within a public service setting.
- Receive mentoring and on-the-job training from experienced professionals in family and community services.
