Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanics with the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of machinery and vehicle components
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
- Support in the disassembly and reassembly of mechanical parts and systems
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, ensuring safety standards are upheld
- Document work performed accurately and assist with inventory management of tools and parts
- Follow safety protocols at all times during operations and training sessions
- Participate actively in training programmes to develop technical knowledge and practical skills
Skills
- Strong interest in mechanics, engineering, or related fields
- Good organisational skills with an ability to follow instructions carefully
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
