What Will Your Day Look Like?
You will be working in Digital Industries within Siemens Plc. Reporting into the business Environment, Health & Safety Manager you will support the business in maintaining excellent EHS standards during the delivery of sustainable technology solutions into our wide UK customer base.
Your role will include:
- Deliver environmental initiatives by supporting eco‑efficient projects that reduce material, energy, water, and land use while maintaining performance.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on carbon neutrality progress and key environmental, health, and safety (EHS) metrics.
- Engage with internal and external customers to communicate EHS initiatives, provide updates, gather feedback, and promote sustainability awareness.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying enhancements to EHS practices and contributing innovative ideas across the organisation.
- Develop EHS competence through hands‑on site activities, record‑keeping, formal training courses, apprenticeship assessments, and supporting the EHS Manager to ensure compliance and role‑model EHS values.

- We're looking for a logical and innovative individual to join our scheme and make a difference.
- You will be able to demonstrate self-motivation and the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively to achieve deadlines.
- You should demonstrate excellent communication abilities and possess strong proficiency in information technology skills.
- Additionally, you will have achieved at least 5 GCSE's, grade 4 or above, including Mathematics and English Language.
- A current driving licence is preferred due to the travel requirements of the role, although applications are welcome from those currently in the process of learning to drive.
