The Opportunity
· Gain the qualification of NVQ4 Quality Practitioner.
with a view to (if a role is available and upon successful completion) becoming a Quality Assessor
· Support the development and deployment of Quality strategy and policy
· Plan and conduct audits
· Develop and deploy Quality initiatives
· Improve Quality performance
· Assist with guidance and support across the business with matters of Quality
· Collection and analysis of data to establish trends
Key Responsibilities
· Maintenance and updating Quality Audit Tracker
· Distribution of completed reports
· Allocation of actions identified in reports and subsequent management (chasing)
· Recording and monitoring Non-Conformance progression
· Data Analysis of audit findings
· Development of improvements plans based on data analysis
· Meeting preparation and participation
· Coaching and advising operational teams to assist in Quality delivery
· Participate in Incident investigation (Quality and NC)
· Participating in Quality Audits 1st, 2nd and 3rd Party
· Conducting assessments under supervision
· Other duties as required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
· Attention to detail
· Writing skills
· Good level of verbal communication skills
· Can demonstrate a good level of computer literacy (word, excel, PP, power BI)
· Good level of English and Maths
· Willingness to travel
· Willingness to learn
Desirable:
· Ability to produce informative and concise reports
· A previous dealing or understanding with ISO 9001 or Quality system
Requirements of role:
· Age range 21 +. Some of the sites we work at are not suitable for a young person
· Computer literate (Word, Excel, PP, Power BI)
· Willing to travel to sites (building up to 4-8 days per month during apprenticeship with overnight stays on occasion)
· Confident
· Organised
· Approachable
· Good attention to detail
· Driving license an advantage (would be required at end of apprenticeship if FT role available and offered)
