Brief overview
You will be taught how to care for the children and support all aspects of their learning and development.
The role will involve nappy changing, feeding and helping older children to feed themselves.
Children play inside and outside with open-ended toys so you will need to like being outdoors.
To play with children and join in with their imaginative games.
Sing and dance with children or sometimes sit quietly and read a story.

Your day to day responsibilities in this role will include:
- Supported supervision of children aged 0-5.
- Supervising and monitoring the safety of the children.
- Feeding and changing the children, as needed.
- Planning day to day activities.
- Building strong relationships with parents.
- Keeping records of children’s progress, routines, and interests.

Things to consider
The working day can be long
Need to study on days off
Need to attend staff meetings/training in the evening and maybe a weekend
