Mechanical Maintenance Technician
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you are an integral part of the DOW site. Equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes and pipework need daily attention. It will be your responsibility to maintain, repair or replace them with a very hands-on approach, using specified tools. PPE is extremely crucial for personal safety; chemical suits are often worn for jobs that involve working with certain substances. You will fill out reports and job feedback sheets at the end of the day to inform colleagues and handover any problems encountered along the way.
Analyzer Maintenance Technician
As an Analyzer Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you are an integral part of the DOW site. Analyzers provide continuous monitoring of our processes to optimize efficiency of our operations and automate manual laboratory sampling / testing to provide continuous data. Equipment such as Gas Chromatography Analyzers, Continuous Emissions Monitoring Analyzers, Safety Critical Analyzers and Environmental Analyzers need daily attention. It will be your responsibility to maintain, repair or replace them with a very hands-on approach using specified tools. PPE is extremely crucial for personal safety; chemical suits are often worn for jobs that involve working with certain substances. You will fill out maintenance record sheets for all jobs completed and inform colleagues and handover any problems encountered along the way. The analyzer team are self-managed and take full ownership of the Analyzers onsite.

Qualifications:

You have 5 GCSEs at grade C/ Level 4 or above (Inc. Math's, English and a science)

You are allowed to work in the United Kingdom

You can speak and write in English fluently
