Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry trade while working under the guidance of skilled professionals. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various tasks related to the fabrication, assembly, and installation of wooden structures and fixtures, contributing to a variety of projects.
Duties
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of wooden structures, including frames, doors, and cabinetry.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Support skilled carpenters in performing joinery work, ensuring precision and quality in all aspects of construction.
- Help with lifting and moving materials as required on job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on-site to promote a safe working environment.

Experience
- Previous experience or coursework related to carpentry is beneficial but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for various tasks within the carpentry field.
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles or masonry techniques would be considered a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

Pay: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
