Being an apprentice means you will have one dedicated day of study per week whilst gaining real work experience which is crucial as you start to build your career and by the end of your apprenticeship you will have at least two years’ of working in a nurturing environment. Your starting salary will be £8.60 an hour in your first year. During your second year you will remain on this amount or the minimum wage for your age, whichever is higher. We can also offer you 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, an excellent pension and a number of discounts including gym membership.

APPRENTICE – Pensions Administrator
We are a friendly team, who have had a number of successful apprentices who are still working with us and we are looking for someone with drive and motivation to join the Payroll & Pension team.
Guided by experienced professionals, you will gain invaluable practical experience and theoretical knowledge. We will provide on the job training and support whilst you undertake your qualification, (Pensions Administrator Level 3).
This transformative journey will equip you with the skills and expertise to thrive in the Payroll & Pensions world, setting the foundations for a prosperous and fulfilling career.
The role itself involves a wide range of Payroll and Pension administrative tasks, such as providing good customer service, using the bespoke system to maintain accurate records, to assist with the preparation, processing and administration of the monthly payroll & pension cycle, while complying with contractual and statutory obligations.
You will be involved with producing and checking reports, analysing data, completing calculation and dealing with employee enquiries. You will also liaise with the HR department and external businesses to address queries and ensure accurate employee data.
Essential qualifications: If you have not yet achieved GCSE grade 4 or above in English and maths you will continue your learning in both subjects to achieve both by the end point assessment.
