Environmental Health & Licensing are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to complete their Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Our Apprenticeship will provide an excellent grounding in understanding and delivering the principles of excellent customer service in a local government setting.
The detailed training provided also means that you will gain a thorough understanding of working through planning and other services. This apprenticeship will be a strong foundation for a rewarding and fulfilling career within Local Government, customer or business-related areas.

You will need a Maths & English GCSE at a grade 4 or above (or equivalent qualification, level 2 functional skills) to be eligible to enrol on this apprenticeship an NVQ level 3 in Business Administration.
About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in a professional office environment while developing essential administrative skills. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks that support the smooth operation of our business, providing valuable insights into the world of business administration.
In this role, you will be;
- Answering telephone calls and forwarding to the relevant person or taking messages where appropriate.
- Providing administrative support to the team including monitoring email inboxes and inputting information into the departmental database.
- Assisting with collection of data, figures and performance indicators.
You will also be studying towards an NVQ level 3 in Business Administration with our onsite learning provider Waverley Training Services (WTS). At least 6 hours of your working week will be spent on your studies. We will also grant additional leave to help you prepare for assessments/exams.

Our purpose built open-plan offices in Dorking. We are located opposite the Sports Centre which offers a 6 lane 25m swimming pool, sports hall, gym, aerobics studio and café and Dorking Halls, which provides a range of facilities including a café, cinema, theatre and concerts.
The offices are only a 2-minute walk from shops in the High Street. For those who travel to work by car we provide free staff parking alongside the office and the nearest railway stations are just a 5-minute walk away.
