Job Overview

This Accounts/Finance Assistant apprenticeship programme will ensure you have the skills to maintain an efficient and accurate finance function within a business. This role is part of the business succession planning.

We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment while developing their skills in a specific trade or profession. As an Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced professionals, learning the ins and outs of the industry while contributing to our projects and operations.

Hours - Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm

Friday 8am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople in daily tasks and projects, gaining practical knowledge and experience.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and understanding of the trade.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Carry out basic tasks as instructed, including preparation of materials and tools for use.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration.
Keep accurate records of tasks completed and skills learned during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

A genuine interest in learning and developing skills within the chosen trade.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
Previous experience or knowledge in the relevant field is advantageous but not essential.
A willingness to undertake training and development opportunities throughout the apprenticeship.
