Salary : £23k per annum in Telford (with a potential placement in Birmingham) £26k per annum in London

What is Asset Management and what will you be doing?
Asset Management for a life insurance company like Phoenix Group is like managing a giant piggy bank to help people grow their money before they retire, so that when they do, they have the income they need to live a fulfilling life during their retirement years. To do this, we need to strategically invest their money in a range of different things such as bonds, real estate and stocks, to generate the best possible returns! The apprenticeship rotation programme will provide a hands-on experience of the end-to-end asset management process, all the way from the front office where investment decisions are made, to the middle office where performance is tracked, to the back-office engine room for the business.
You’ll see first-hand how money moves through the business, how investments are analysed and how we ensure the process is optimised to keep things running smoothly.

What are we looking for?
Current or recent school leavers who have completed A-level or BTEC and are looking for a level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship (18 months) progressing further through to level 6. You will be fully funded and supported in your apprenticeship and will have 1 day a week dedicated to your learning.
You will start on a Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship as it provides a structured learning path with practical, industry-specific skills that go beyond the theoretical knowledge gained from A-Levels, allowing you to develop the necessary expertise to perform effectively.
- 5 GCSEs with grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English and Maths.
- 112 UCAS points from your top 3 A Levels or equivalent (ideally at least one of your A ‘Levels should be in a STEM subject) or 280 UCAS points for exams sat prior to 2017 (excluding General Studies) i.e. BBC.
We’re looking for bright individuals who are confident in sharing their good ideas;

- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to interact and connect with our customers (so if you have worked in a bar or pub or supermarket or retail in general this may be right up your street!)
